What do you suggest I do here? Are you also saying that if there's two of us left in the hand and I have a small pocket pair (depending on their stack size), I should re-raise? I've been playing as a TAG nit and that seems counter-intuitive for me. Limping AK sounds stupid, but every time I went to showdown with it, I was crushed. Play min' stakes, build bankroll, learn about the stakes you're moving up to, play those stakes with a 20 buyin bankroll. That's my plan, as with most other people. I need to build my bankroll up to something I can play higher stakes on with 20 buyins. Limp AK? Call with small pocket pair regardless of vil stack size? Limp any two cards in SB if there are 1+ limpers? This blueprint will run into serious problems if you try to play higher, you will also not develop the necessary skills to read table dynamics or adjust to opponents that you will require.Īlso a lot of that is just plain strange. If you plan on playing 1c/2c for the rest of your life then sure, you can probably devise a blueprint to follow ridigly that will win long term.
