WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Checked in and my room was filthy. Worst experience ever and we have been going to casinos for over 20 years We will not return to the Horseshoe again. After going to 5 different floors we were able to get bottled water. We were told by the manager that we would have to go to a different floor and see if water was available because that was beyond their control. The room seemed to be cleaner but no water available in the vending machine. At 4:30 we were able to change to a different room on the 19th floor. The fitted sheet was too small amd would not even cover the nasty mattress. The bed was a king and had 2 twin box springs under it with no bedskirt and was stained and nasty looking.
As we were carrying our luggage (that rolls) and tiptoeing so we didn't step on it, a housekeeper came out of a room and apologized. Nasty linen was spread across the hallway floor and I mean discolored towels and linens. We payed the early check in fee because at that point what do you do. We were told upon arrival that check in was at 4:00 pm and it was 25.00 plus tax for early check in. When reservation was made, we were asked what time we wanted ro check in. Upon arrival, front desk clerk was not friendly.
